Stone Island known in the U.K for decades as a casual brand and a favoured label within football culture as part of the ''terrace casuals'', Stone Island became popular amongst the fashion conscious football fans in the 80's and 90's.

Since then the brand is now heavily associated with streetwear and the music scene, with the likes of Canadian rapper Drake, one of the brands most famous celebrity fans. Known for its fabric innovation for which the concept has been the cornerstone of the brand from its very first garments, some examples of which over the years have been the high tech Stone Island Ice Jacket, which changed colours at different temperatures and the Silver Jacket, made from stainless steel bonded to a fabric base.

A luxury French fashion house  founded in 1970 by Japanese designer Kenzo Takada. Drawing on inspiration from his Asian and Japanese roots, Kenzo created a European fashion brand with Asian style influences. 

In more recent times, designers Humberto Leon and Carol Lim unveiled a knitted sweater with a tiger graphic on it for Kenzo's Fall 2012 collection.  Despite initial resistance from Kenzo's design team, the tiger sweatshirt was introduced into the collection and the rest as they say is history.
